So yeah, I am still trying to get to california, but, well... I have run into a few roadblocks such as my steering column catching fire (which is fun and interesting to experience while you are driving, let me tell you) which put the Truck back in the shop. Luckily Jimmy is a GOD when it comes to working on things like this... I was just kinda hoping to get off easy and not have to pay god prices when it came to fixing the beast. But Jimmy is fair, and will not rip me off at all and the work he does is top notch. Hopefully on top of it he will cut me a deal. Fingers are crossed on that one.

Although right now that might be all for moot because I have put myself out there to go to Haiti, and I know I am on at least 2 secondary response team lists... they are just running into a few issues over there with things like accommodations, food and water, and safety. Apparently some of the volunteers have gone missing and kidnapping is suspected. No one really knows right now and in all the chaos those people could simply be lost. Who knows what is really going on.

Other than that things are going good. I am still planning on going to northern California and starting college. Hopefully if I get there in time I can sign up for the paramedic program at the College of the Redwoods and start that this fall. I will be trying out that whole room mate thing, and it will be great to be around close friends again. Got some other plans for when I get up there, but, well, there's no point in going into the details until thing get set in motion. We will see what happens.

It looks like 2010 is going to be a grand adventure. ^_^
